OPEN HOUSES 2011

Our 2011-12 season is coming up! Open Houses will be held on Sunday, September 18th and Sunday, September 25th from 11:00am - 2:30pm. Come for some free play and find out more about our League. Player commitment and payment ($165) are due by September 28th. Regular season play will begin on Sunday, October 9th.

OFF-SEASON OPEN PLAY

Don't forget that our league maintains two tables at NYTTF during the off-season. We can play at our usual times (Sunday 11am-2:30pm). Be sure to email league members if you plan on come down to the club: the more the merrier, the more practice the better.

TIGHT SCORES AT 2011 FINALS

Congratulations to first place winner Amy! After a close match with June in the semifinals, Amy forged ahead to beat Sandy in an thrilling five game match. Kudos to our league champions: Amy (1st Place), Sandy (2nd Place), and Renae (3rd Place).

TOP PLAYERS ADVANCE

The top four players will proceed to the playoffs and finals, scheduled for March 27, 2011. Congratulations to Amy, Sandy, Renae, and June for their excellent playing this season.

Here are the regular season results: Amy (33-0), Sandy (29-4), Renae (27-6), June (22-11), Susan (21-12), Fay (17-16), Lisa (16-17), Ella (14-19). The following players did not provide a scoresheet: Hinda Ho-Ling, Renee, and Vicki.

DIANE AND ELLA WIN TOP 2010 HONORS

This season, our championship contenders exhibited intense, fierce, and exciting play! In Division One, first place went to Diane, followed by Amy and Sandy. In Division Two, the top dog was Ella, followed by Elaine and Renee.

2009-2010 CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE HERE!

Congratulations to this season's top players. In Division One, Diane (16-2), Amy (16-2), Sandy (14-4), and Renae (12-6) will be playing for top honors. And, due to unforeseen injuries, all of the remaining Division Two players will be playing for first prize: Ella (7-2), Elaine (5-4), Renee (4-5), and Judy (1-8). Our playoffs and finals will take place on Sunday, May 16. Good luck ladies!

2009 SEASON FINALE

Kudos to Maria and Lisa, winners of Division One and Two, respectively. This afternoon Maria played against Sandy for the 1st place prize, while Lisa and Ella duked it out in Division Two. After the trophy ceremony, we enjoyed our annual season ending dinner party at nearby Parigot restaurant on Grand Street.
